Former political prisoner says last night he was attacked and insulted by VV activists, wants Kurt to apologize

AAK chairmanship member Visar Ballovci has said he is receiving attacks and insults from Vetevendosje Movement activists and supporters of outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Ballovci, who is also a former political prisoner at the same time, has asked Albin Kurti to apologise publicly for the attacks he said were made last night by LV supporters, following his appointment as a leading member of Ramush Haradinaj's party, Periskopi follows.

Ballovci says that with Kurti they have also been prison mates and that for his suffering there, the prime minister himself is also willing.

Dear friends last night I've seen a lot of reactions, I've got a lot of press messages and comments.

As a political prisoner, and as ill-treated by Milosevic's police, I have never felt worse than last night by the attacks by activists of my fellow Burgin Kurti.

After many beatings I've had, and severe shocks have caused visual problems that I still suffer. I have subjected many operations, the last operation I have had in Germany thanks to the help of Daut Haradinaj.

For all these sufferings, Albin is also a witness, so today I expect forgiveness from him, and I ask him to stop the assault on values or else my doubts arise again about him, the way I was born when he was released or a hair hadn't been harmed.
