Ministry of Health Parliamentary Commission: You Have Miniature Knowledge

The Ministry of Health has expressed deep regret over the continuing lies, half the truths and misuse of actual data that are being addressed to the ministry primarily by MPs, in particular by the head of the Parliamentary Commission for Health and Social Peace.

According to the ministry's response, unfortunately, honoured MPs at any meeting in the commission, forum and discussion are not taking sides with this unprecedented battle in new history, but are being launched not rarely in the creation of a climate of division, disillusioning not rarely, about the work of the Ministry of Health and its subordinate institutions during the management of the Devov-19 pandemic.

The bottom line, through reckless statements and above all not true, is dezinating for the non-reliance of the Ministry of Other Institutions in management of Ovid-19, something that is exposed by the results itself on the ground, which speak of a good management of the epidemiology situation in terms of Covid-19. These results have been assessed by many reports of national and international factors where Kosovo is counted among the countries with the best management of pandemic for results among countries with the lowest mortality rate from Ovid 19 which is the main indicator for measuring the success of the management of Ovid-19. Although the same have been directly informed and with documentation from MSh as well as about the hierarchy of operations during pandemic, the functioning of medical teams, and the itself MSh's Emergency Operations Centre, the same, provide incorrect public information about whether no one is known who controls medical teams on the ground (on the airport) and other teams. With that, unfortunately, it suggests that they have minimal knowledge of the organisation and functioning of the health system, in particular in times of public health emergencies, much less health care, and the scheme of organisation and institutional operation under the Plan for Readiness and Reaction v. Coddy-19. Unfortunately, being uninformed, such unconventioned information, conspiracy, and slandering and accusing them of stealing during the procurement procedures at the time of pandemic. We remind the same people that the MS has invited relevant authorities to monitor the procurement and evental abuse processes (March 10th 2020) after the beginning of the pandemic as the Unit for investigating Kosovo Police's economic crimes and Kosovo's Kosovar Competition Authority. A similar request was made a few days ago, but even in any public response has been made the same as publicly”, the communique says.

It says that as yesterday, today, but tomorrow it has invited all organs to investigate any investigation concerning any possible abuse, as well as to offer full transparency for any process developed with public interest since the beginning of the pandemic.

“MS expresses regret that the MP in question has other than a lack of knowledge, or they act like they don't know when they talk about the country's government's separate funding for the management of pandemic, which has been poured into the MS budget, as this minister has received the mandate for leadership in managing this situation and providing through it with professional protection supplies, not only for the health sector, but also for organisations that have contributed to the fighting of pandemic. MS, I regret that these deputies, but others, hiding behind the MP's immunity are serving with street lies, and in the way of concern to MSh and its officials, as well as health professionals themselves, who are ridiculously willing to introduce outside the umbrella and leadership by MS. Their construction that the “health workers and everyone else have done well, while the MSh bad” is ridiculous. Citizens, but also international public health experts have already recognised the success of MS and the health institutions themselves, along with ministries and other organisations in managing the UN pandemic, says the communique.

MSH, regardless of all the slander, whether deliberately or not, provides the MPs in question, but also all MPs and public opinion, that the MS is committed to successfully combating pandemic, upholding laws in power, supporting health professionals, policemen, firefighters, inspectors and others in their work, and ensuring the public health of citizens.
