Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sfecla, who started today accusing some young people of organising the prayer in the square and that supposedly behind them lies Professor Milazim Krasniqi, was exposed in the afternoon by the action organisers himself, who, according to public data on social networks, proved to be in fact supportive of Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje.
The person who has opened the petition for opening mosques and who is part of the prayer organisation in Pristina Square turns out to be VV and Albin Kurti supporters.
As seen in his Facebook profile, one of the organisers, Shkelqim Hajdaraj, is the host of Albin Kurti and VV.
Among the many posts in support of the Vetevendosje Movement, on the day that Albin Kurti prime minister was elected, he had posted a Facebook photo with the inscription “Urim Kosovo”.
But it seems that Sfecla's attempt to distract some VV activists from behind the action by trying to connect university professor Milazim Krasniqi with them has irritated many citizens, but the action organisers “are also forgiven to”.
They have reacted harshly to Jhelal Sfechla through a Facebook post.
“We express our concern over the minister's statements on the protest. What we wanted at least was politicising this issue. We declare that we have nothing to do with Milazim Krasniqi or anyone else from the political spheres as well is not included at all.
Organisers' data is known to the Kosovo Police after we have physically delivered the report to police”, reports the organisers' response on their Facebook page.
We understand the approach and concern, as today it is hard to think that there is an organization of any nature without political instrumentization, but this organization is different. We had begged all individuals and interest groups not to misuse it for daily gain or personal resentment. May God enable us to open the mosques as soon as possible”, it says in response.
