Trapped by the Cover of the Message
Manufacturing news is not a part of the media. But for companies registered with media denouncing, which actually play the role of a cause, whether of clicks (monisters), or of (dez) the orientation of opinion.
Just like a cover story published last night at a portal. At that, the public was reported with sensational news of an Iftar between Chief Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti!
Amazingly, some serious media also fell into the trap of this bandage. This represents a dangerous symptom in the media field. Not to confirm the news.
With the most ease, a simple search in “Google”, I can find out the fact that “warned” for “iftar”, is a dinner organised by British Ambassador Nicholas Abbott on November 14, 2019, in which Mrs. Osmani and Mr. Kurt.
In pandemic time, a dinner with no distance is imagined. A significant visual fact about the authenticity of a situation.
From the position of media adviser to the Speaker of the Parliament last night, I didn't get any calls from any spirit medium to verify if such a meal happened. So, therefore, a scripture published in a portal became an hysterical campaign against the head of the Parliament, with the sole purpose of creating sensationalization, or more accurately, of the desired news. Journalism is not a projection of desires, so there is no desirable news, but only real - time reporting of news. It would be quite easy if the media kept up the journalistic climate, making a double-check verification of a sensational Iftar. Consequently, serious portals had to verify the source of the news according to the pattern: If someone tells you it rains outside, don't trust them. Come out and see if you're getting wet!
In the current dynamic, no one will have time to deal with news. So there's only one way. Confirmation, confirmation and confirmation!
