Coronavirus has raised the net value of American billionaire Jeff Bezos for $22 billion ($2 billion), thanks to numerous Amazon shopping requirements.
The founder and executive chief of the Amazon platform is already the richest person in the world, but now according to Bloomberg Miliarders Index, his wealth amounts to $138 billion (126m euros), reports The Independent, broadcasts news.
On Tuesday, the Amazon's price rose to 5.3 per cent, following numerous consumer Internet discussions during the coronary pandemic.
The American economy is expected to shrink to nearly double in proportion to the global economy, according to the IMF, with a 5.9 per cent decline in GDP in 2020.
Bezos becomes the latest billionaire to benefit from the current economic stop.
