Since March 13th, the first cases with COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kosovo. As a result, the Government of Kosovo had to take a series of measures in order to prevent the overall spread of this virus.
Among the decisions made by the Government was the deployment of citizens returning from foreign countries to quarantine, a measure that many foreign countries have not applied.
Their deployment to quarantine at the Student Centre in Pristina began on March 19th, while 493 people have been deployed there so far.
With recommendations made by the Family Medicine doctors at the dormitories have been released for a total of 53 persons, two persons from whom only one has resulted positive for COVID-19, thus continuing treatment at the Infective Clinic.
Currently in quarantine there are 438 people, while from today it is expected to start testing those who have spent more than 14 days in quarantine and begin to leave.
Until Saturday, 145 cases must be tested, they will be released home in vetoation another 14 days. All this work has been accomplished by the MSH-led government of many government ministries! Management all of these people would be impossible without the unscathed work of staff of the Kosovo Students, Police, Family Medicine medical teams, non-reliable IKSHPK teams, and a large number of volunteers. May I help my family?
