Kosovo Infectiva nurse shows what is the biggest challenge to patients infected with coronary

One of the nurses who has been in line against coronavirus is also Fitim Havolli, who from the first day the virus broke out in Kosovo on 13 March, is helping infected patients, certainly along with many other colleagues.

Havell, which has been working since 2002 in the Infectious Clinic, 18 years, in a conversation about Online Journal “Reporter.net”, shows the fight for the virus so far, and the recovery of affected patients.

Havol says that from the first day down to today, the situation with coronavirus has been well managed as it expresses regret over those who have died.

As for all of the world, but for us as the main nurses/ challenges is that the virus is still unknown to humanity! As for other professional challenges, I can tell you that not only me, but the entire current staff and management is wonderful, based on our many experiences with various epidemics that the Infectious Clinic and its staff, nurses and doctors, face! Here what is challenging and challenging to us is wearing special and very difficult clothes even during our professional interventions, but understandably considering this deadly virus worldwide. Fortunately for us to date from the first day of the Quaddy-19 cases is being well managed in my opinion, feeling pity for all those who lost the battle with this virus”, Havel told Reporter.net.

He says the greatest satisfaction for the medical staff is when their professional work results with the good result being placed on the patient.

He shows how he and his colleagues thank him for the work they are doing in these difficult days.

There are times when patients have made us feel good, and it's also motivation for all of us, when they thank us with the best words for the care of our daily work and commitments that we make according to our legal, moral and professional obligation! Patients today still honor and thank us with many large, respectful terms. ”, Havoli said.

He shows that he was the steward on March 13th when the first coronavirus case was presented in our country, while he says that for 14 days he had stayed away from his wife and three children while adding that he continues to keep his recommended distance today.

When the first case in Kosovo was confirmed with David -19, that's 13,03.20, I was the steward and despite all the protective measures I was equipped with, but since the virus was unknown, I made a decision on understanding and on my wife that for any certainty not to stay together 14 days on the first day, according to WHO recommendations, that the period of incubation with the disease could be 2-14 days! After 15 days I've joined the family, but we still have a minimum social distance possible even at home”, Havol relates.

Asked about the state of patients lying at the Infectious Clinic, Havolli says it is generally very good, exempting some cases that are in a more serious condition.

“Thank God and dedication of all professionals who own the Infectious Clinic as staff and management the patient's condition is very good, except for some cases that continue to have a serious condition, as there are also many other associated diseases according to experts, infectious clinic”, he says.

Havoli, who is also chairman of the Union of Nurses, Mothers and other health professionals in Kosovo, urges citizens to stay at home.

My call is to keep leaving this virus by staying at home, maintaining personal hygiene and respecting all measures taken by responsible institutions, I KSHP and other state institutions. As long as we've entered the second month from the first day and the situation can slip out of control, free movement should be sacrificed by them, so that even we experts and health professionals can help more to help all who have had the bad fortune to touch the coronrous. We together with you family and respected citizens, for a month we have broken the legs of the virus, if you continue to respect strict measures, stay at home, we will tear off even the evil virus, and we will end this social, economic, cosmetic, sports isolation, etc. ”, says Havol.
