He said he selected 7 of the possible vaccines that could be used against COVID-19 and built production capacity for them.
Bill Gates will invest in seven factories that promise the development of an anti-cornavirus vaccine.
On Friday, Microsoft's founder said the Gates Foundation will invest billions of dollars to combat the spread of the Coronobrus.
Since our foundation has deep expertise in infectious diseases and we are prepared for such a situation, our investment will accelerate measures to fight COVID-19,” said Gates.
He said he selected 7 of the possible vaccines that could be used against COVID-19 and built production capacity for them.
Gates believes only 1-2 of them will prove successful and some of the money will be wasted. Bill and Melinda Gates have promised $100 million to fight the coronavirus, while his foundation has provided tests for Americans.
He said America needs 10 weeks of isolation to cope with the crisis.
