In March, the company said it would employ additional warehouses and offering workers across the country, amid an increase in internet acquisitions during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Since then, the Amazon said it has employed more than 100,000 new workers and, as a result, is working even harder to help carry out the orders.
As the Amazon continues to employ more workers, it also increased its hour-to-hour wage and doubled its overtime pay for warehouse workers. By the end of April, storage and offering workers can earn an additional $2 an hour.
Amazon currently pays $15 an hour.
