The request was rejected because of the unjust arrest and continued detention by the Belgrade authorities, the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, Nezir Mehmetaj, even though all evidence shows that he would have to be released as soon as he can, says MPJ, broadcast KOHA.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo says such requests will be considered only after the release of Nezir Mehmetaj, who was arrested by Serbian police on 4 January 2020, at the border point in Merdare, until he was returning from Switzerland to Kosovo on the pretext of allegedly war crimes.
