A British diplomat has died in Hungary, having been infected with coronarys. Steven Dick, deputy ambassador to Budapest, was 37.
Dick, who worked several years in Kabul and Riyadh, took office in Hungary last year. It is not yet clear whether he had previous health problems.
“Steven has been a dedicated diplomat and has represented his country with great skill and passion. He will miss everyone who has known and worked with him”, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said.
On Wednesday, the number of victims in the world from the disease causing Coronavirus, COVID-19, has exceeded 20,000.
