AKK, police sign memorandum for conducting unprecedented checks

This important document envisions co-operation between the parties in various fields, including the exchange of information, co-ordination of activities, training and awareness of others.
But one of the main points of this memorandum concerns co-operation in conducting unprecedented checks (or, as it is widely known in English as “dawn raids”) to subjects suspected of violating competition.
This means that Kosovo Competition Authority officials require a authorization by the competent court to enter without warning or special permission to the headquarters and property of the suspected subjects, as well as to seek assistance from Kosovo Police officials in specific cases.
