Selmanaj: SHIK Prepolitical Organisation, Special to dawn the killings of 100 LDK officials

Former LDK delegation now deputy prime minister Driton Selmanaj had linked Kadri Wessel's SHIK to political killings that took place in Kosovo.

Selmanaj, in a TV statement to Dukagjini in January this year, had said SHIK was a parapolitical organisation that no one in Kosovo has seen.

“SHIK has not been seen by anyone in any element of which the Special Court has told us who killed more than 100 people in LDK”, the parliamentary deputy said at the time.

Driton Selamanaj has had problems recently with Vetevendosje officials because of a statement he had made at Pressing, where he had talked about the topic of war crimes. VV has requested Selmanaj's dismissal until Avdullah Hoti has apologised in his name.

Selmanaj has also apologised for that statement and said he has been misinterpreted.
