Petkov attacks German Eurodeput, who said Serbia will recognise Kosovo

The director of the so-called Kosovo Office in Serbia's government, Petar Petkovic, complained at the German eurodeputen Violet von Cremon after her statements that the Serbian president himself knows that at the end of the dialogue process Serbia will recognise Kosovo's independence. Petkovic in response to von Cremon's statement said she is an open promotion of Kosovo's independence and speaks only those who like to listen to politicians in Pristina.
Petkovic avoided the rest of the late Cremon interview for DW when he criticised Kosovo institutions.
Kosovo rapporteur Violet von Cremon had declared that Kosovo's independence from Serbia is inevitable and that the Serbian president himself is aware of it. She had stressed that this is also the condition for Serbia's EU membership.
Petkovic through a communique, as Serbian media report, has said that “Serbia -- contrary to its claims [Von Cramon] -- does not calculate the issue of Kosovo's status, because Serbia's position, unlike those representing Von Croamon, is based on international law, but also on European values”.
He declared that “Von Croamon would exercise the post of European Parliament rapporteurs more diligently and honestly if it would cost some of its time and attention to the endangering of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian people in Kosovo, the fact that no one on the ground is dealing with prosecution of persons responsible for the killings and kidnappings”.
Once again, sincerely disappointed, I find that it is great damage to the European Parliament and to Kosovo and Metohija residents that a position of such responsibility and potential beneficiary keeps the person who is not prepared to do their work in sincerity and in accordance with European values” is quoted as saying.
