Kosovo is grateful for Turkey's multidimensional and constant support, especially in strengthening its international subjectivity. At an official meeting with Turkey's Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Mevluüt Cavuşoğlu discussed all aspects of our bilateral reports, prioritizing the issue of access to an anti vaccine. - COVID19, where we received support for close cooperation in this direction.
Under the discussion for regional and international developments, I requested Turkey's further support in completing the universal recognition of the Republic of Kosovo, as full-fledged members and responsibilities in international society. I was assured by Minister Cavuşoğlu that Turkey will continue full support for Kosovo in this respect.
We agreed on readiness for further deepening of security and military relations, especially Kosovo's legitimate aspirations for advancing its integration path to NATO, thus closing the security architecture in the Adriatic generation. We also discussed the need to boost economic activity between the two states and improve the trade balance. Minister Cavuşoğlu said Turkish investments in Kosovo will increase in this framework, as well as conditions for Kosovo's growth of exports to Turkey.
I assured counterpart that a strong Kosovo within, integrated into NATO and internationally recognised is the strong guarantee of security and stability in Southeast Europe.
