Kosovo has scored the highest death toll this Thursday since the pandemic started on March 13th. According to data from the Public Health Institute, 22 people died from COVID-19 yesterday.
Besides, according to figures, 25 thousand and 636 positive cases have been recorded in Kosovo during the past 2 months compared to about 16 thousand in the entire period for the first seven months of pandemic. In March 13th, October 1st, there have been 15,663 positive cases and 627 cases of death, but only from October 1st to today are 25,636 positive cases and 435 cases of death.
The Institute of Public Health has called for afternoon care and has alarmed for high figures. The caregiver will soon take us to the overload of health institutions and increase fatal cases. Please be careful with wearing masks, keep your distance and personal hygiene”, says the IKSHPK appeal.
A total of 13 March and 3 December in Kosovo have died of 1062 people and infected 41,299. The total number of cures is 26,453.
And after these alarming statistics, today I KSHPK has made an appeal to citizens to be more careful because hospital capacities are heading towards collapse
