Zemaj says within days the anti-Verial flu vaccines reach distribution within the month

Zemaj said that this year there is an increase of over 60 percent of the amount of these vaccines.

“NICEF has so far provided 160 thousand and 500 seasonal flu vaccines, which represent growth of 60 percent compared to the amount of these vaccines from last year. Vaccines were purchased by the Health Ministry, while U n NICEF has carried out the procurement part and logistical aspects about providing the vaccine. These vaccines will be distributed for endangered population groups according to O recommendations. BSH and vaccines are four wavers that increase the protection of the most aggressive viruses in the course of seasonal flu. These vaccines have now been bought to me, and the additional 55 thousand and 500 vaccines of the same quality will be provided. The vaccines, according to official reports by the UNICEF Office in Kosovo, have been launched from the production site and will arrive in Kosovo within days and will be distributed within November”, he said.

About delays in reaching the seasonal flu vaccine, he said it occurred in early 2020, and for that, impunity said there were penal measures.

In the parliamentary debate under way over the management of COVID-19, Zemaj said it has increased the number of tests for COVID-19 for 5 months.

“What I can say responsibly for these 5 months and more or nothing has increased or doubled the number of beds, 20 times the tests, triple the equipment for all services, tenfold the testing equipment, and, more importantly, no more unemployed doctors in the Republic of Kosovo”, he said.

About the functionality of the COVID hospital, which is destined for the emergency hospital that is under construction, Zemaj said they are preparing the tender for the start of the job and purchase of equipment, which he said would happen within this week.

After completing the project, which is now complete, we are in the process of preparing the tender in parallel for starting jobs according to the specifics of the project, buying adequate equipment for destination specifications that will certainly take place during this week”, he said.

With the use of this space for treatment of patients with COVID-19, Zemaj said that quality service and adequate access to COVID and access to professional staff concentration at an institution and providing adequate quality services.
