In early February of last year, then Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj dismissed him from the minister's post after a major pressure from political opponents. The dismissal came after Pristina citizens in the quarter “dania” were accused of torturing and torturing Albanians during the war.
Rikallos' dismissal was also a condition of the opposition Social Democrat Party to vote the budget for 2019.
