With regard to citizens' interest, at the embassy address there have been many demands to somehow share this vaccine on individual grounds.
As long as the vaccine has not been certified for official use in this country, we cannot bring it in.
Russia is ready for co-operation with each country, including Albania, if it has such interest from the latter, he has said.
Shugurov has added that Albania has not submitted any requests to the Russian side, while noting the experts' shared opinion with those of the government-controlled Committee of Experts.
“Albania has not submitted any requests. I have noticed that there have been two reactions in the country - from professional doctors and from virologists.
According to them, Russian vaccine has been produced on the basis of well-known methods and technologies, and should not pose any risks. That's one of the thoughts.
There has been another reaction by several members of the Council of Experts, under which Albania's election is to wait for a secure Western “vasine”, the Russian diplomat has said.
