Among these countries is Nigeria, the largest African country, along with other countries from Africa and Asia, according to administration officials who have seen the list.
The new resources would also apply to immigrants and travelers from Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan, and Tanzania. Countries in question may not be completely banned from travel to the US, but they may have certain types of visas, such as business or tourist visas, administration officials have said, the Periscope broadcast from the Wall Street Journal.
Some countries may also be banned from participating in the lottery programme, in which citizens from these countries previously applied American passports [gren card] if they could win.
President Trump had earlier called for this programme to end, saying he allowed undesirable people to enter the United States.
Officials have said the list is not final, and on Tuesday the White House was arguing whether one or two other states should be included.
Such a ban on Muslim countries was described as the Muslim “ban on “and considered politics to be “lamoe”. However, this ban was later withdrawn from the federal court.
