The professor at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Jabir Hamiti, has come next to the imam fired at Vitomirica in Pec, Drilon Gashi. He has said that the former imam Gashi may have made a mistake in arguing, but has said better and more benefits would be, if he were to be debated within BIK institutions, than to leave.
“Personally will support anyone who in his religious interpretation thinking and attitudes is himself, in other words, who is autochthon and is not hostage to foreign ideology with political-religious agendas, which in our country as well as in all the Albanian lands were heavily and massively supported after the war”, he said.
“Mr. Drilon may have mistakes in attitudes and suggestions, as any of us may have, but Mother Drillo's hypotheses, we're also getting wrong, yet they're by no means guiding or bringing our young men and our young ones to isican and suicide. Now, who's in our country got more on his neck? Drilon Gashi or other Drillots! ”, he said further.
Hamiti has said that “in objective Islamic teachings, only the text of the Koran and the saying of Muhammad's origin. It is indisputable, whereas any literature, thought, or interpretation, produced and written throughout Islamic history on the Koran or the Prophet, cannot be sanctioned at any rate; neither religious nor human to be subjected to discussion, analysis, and counterargument”.
I believe that better and more benefits would be, if Drilon were to debate and discuss within the BIK institutions, rather than throw him out of them”, he said.
