The government said the five-week suspension in September and October, however, would allow parliament time to debate Brexit, the BBC writes, translates Periscopi.
House of Representatives leader Jacob Rees-Mogg said the prime minister's officers were fools who just wanted to stay inside the EU.

The suspension was approved by the Queen yesterday, while Johnson's cabinet minister, Michael Gove, said it was not a political movement to prevent the opposition from blocking an exit from the EU without agreement. /Periscope
