Gashi dismisss leadership council at Kosovo Museum

The outgoing minister of culture from the PDK ranks, Kujtim Gashi, has decided today to dismiss the Kosovo Museum Steering Council, as, according to him, no transparent process has been guaranteed in the Council's selection, thus cancelling the entire selection process. So Gashi says he has taken it in co-operation [...]
One such thing Gashi says he has taken in co-operation with party leader Kadri Veselin.
“Rasts like this show corruption is not fought with Molotov cocktails and tear gas. Other parties have done nothing against corruption and nepotism, but they are just looking at us. They are continuing to recruit unfortunately people who have a problem with law”, Gashi has indicated.
Wessel, meanwhile, has said that only one day earlier has been informed of irregularities at the Kosovo Museum.
“during yesterday's day I have been informed that someone has been appointed irregularly and violating legal procedures. So, in conversation with the Ministry of Culture, I'm happy to say in front of you that the minister is also well aware and is handling this case. Corruption and nepotism harm us in all areas of life, and we, too, will fight it in all directions, not in words, but in concrete ways”, Wessel said.
He has stressed that the fight against corruption does not end in one day, but requires bold decisions, such as the Ministry of Culture's decision today to dismiss the commission and annul the selection decision.
If I told you last week to fight corruption, we should give as many young people as we started doing it in the PDK and continue”, he added.
Gashi has said that the PDK will be presented with a list of clean people, without charges and willing to fight corruption in deeds rather than words.
