America launches offensive for dialogue, John Bolton soon in Pristina, Belgrade

US Presidential Adviser John Bolton can visit the region, more precisely Belgrade and Pristina, by the end of August, probably in early September. At the same time, the United States. will launch an offensive when it comes to resolving Kosovo's problem, that is, starting a dialogue, writes the Serbian newspaper Blic, broadcast Periscopi. [...]
Bolton is the American official who gave the green light for the demarcation of Serbs and Albanians, who until then was speculated only in public. He, with his statement, said America does not exclude territorial corrections a year ago, he singled out the history of demarcation as a possible solution to the distribution of Kosovo, but also marked the change in Washington's policy towards changing borders in the Balkans.
That is why this visit is given great importance, and if it does, it will mean in a certain way that it has gone a step further towards resolving the problem with Kosovo.
However, this high visit depends on whether Pristina draws tariffs 100 per cent for Serbian goods, teaches Blic.rs from diplomatic sources. Therefore, aggressive diplomatic activity must continue in the coming period, which should lead to the removal of tariffs.
If there is a guarantee that the tariffs will be removed, it will come. Otherwise, his visit is unlikely, as he simply does not want to be unsuccessful. Since the tax situation is uncertain at the moment, the visit has not been confirmed”, a source from the Serbian newspaper “Blic.rs” has said.
A possible Bolton visit was also mentioned by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who said it could happen.
On the other hand, it is clear that America does not sit down, despite not directly involved in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Officials there, including US President Donald Trump himself, have said many would probably say much when it comes to resolving the Kosovo knot.
John Bolton was among the first in the American administration to talk about changes in borders. After that, no US official promoted to Kosovo was exclusive in connection with the solution, and the peak was a letter sent by Trump to both Serbian and Kosovo President Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci, expecting it to be by the end of the year to reach legally binding agreements./Periscopi/
