(7 years ago)The United States Embassy in Kosovo has issued announcements to all foreigners who visit Kosovo, writing that terrorism coming from traditional terrorist organisations and individuals with extreme ideology “throughout the summer season, security measures in Kosovo remain high as a result of continued threats by Transananational terrorist organisations [...]
“During the summer season, security measures in Kosovo remain high as a result of continued threats by transnational terrorist organisations and individuals inspired by extreme ideology” are written in the Embassy's announcement.
According to this embassy, the sites that need to be avoided are tourist locations, large crowds, shopping centres, transportation vehicles, clubs and other targets frequented by Westerners.
“Extremists continue to focus on tourist locations, major public meetings, shopping malls, transportation vehicles, clubs and other targets frequented by Westernants” continue to be continued.
According to the embassy, some actions should be taken which are:
- Paying attention to locations with large crowds
- Review your security plans.
- Be careful with those around you.
