58 alms-seekers' children in Kosovo, majority Albanian citizens

According to the media report, this plan was implemented in June 2019 and has been implemented throughout Kosovo's territory, from all units of competent police directorate and other relevant activists, broadcast Koha.net.
During the implementation of this operational plan, the identification of 58 charitable children, of them 21 Kosovo citizens and 37 Albanian citizens. Also, with the identification of 42 adult charities, 6 Kosovo citizens and 36 Albanian citizens were identified.

All charitable children have been accompanied by their families and equipped with documents. In the presence of the social worker, all charitable children have been met with forms for charity notes and their families have been questioned, with the aim of identifying potential human trafficking victims”, the report said.
No trafficking victims have been identified during the interrogation.
Children who have not resulted in human trafficking victims have taken steps.
According to the report, the corresponding prosecutor has been consulted, eight cases of wrongdoing or deserting of the child have been initiated under Article 243 of the Kosovo Criminal Code, and criminal charges against 8 suspects, children's foster parents, while 21 children have been identified as victims of this criminal act,
It is said that all children encountered seeking charity (58) are referred to in (the centers for related social work (QPS).
After handling separate cases and verifying the circumstances, in consultation with the Prosecutor and the relevant QPS, Albania's citizens are referred to the relevant directorate (DMH) for further treatment under competencies, the statement said.
