The departure of directors, the payment of two persons for a position and contracts on work taking place within the Ministry does not provide optimism for quality in education.
At the extraordinary session being held for the situation in education and MAST decisions on behalf of this party, MP Luljeta Vesey-Gutaj said that the lack of vision for continued reforms and the reduction of international projects has led to aggression in the ministry.
Kosovo's “Education System is currently facing a series of problems ranging from the pre-school system to the university. Concern is the World Bank's project to improve Kosovo's education system, Esid. This was due to the low level of realisation by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology that it received years earlier from the World Bank. This project has now been reduced to 3.5m euros, and this has only happened because of the lack of good work that has to be done by August... the actual findings that took place in August as the departure of directors, the payment of two persons for a position, contracts on work within the ministry do not provide optimism for quality in education. Mr. Idrizi's departure from the manager's position because he did not sign a document that was and violated the law, is suspended from the location of the job”, she said.
