Commission chief Ismajl Kurteshi proposed sending letters, one culture minister, the other to Albania's ambassador and Kosovo's prime minister over resolving problems posed by the Council.
“I thought to write to the prime minister and every minister to help the Valley, which for those who have been there, the situation in the Valley based on comparisons now is worse than four years ago so government support is important. It is possible to help the Albanians in the Valley, who are the most discriminated community in Europe”, he said.
Commission members demanded that special hearings be held on the issue, or responsible ministers, be called to the Commission.
Teuta Haxhiu AAK MP said calling ministers and maintaining a parliamentary debate is a necessary step Kosovo must take to help the Presevo Valley.
We have no reality whatsoever. We have agreed as deputies to call on the ministers of the lines, whether of education, culture, to see what is the problem of not implementing a culture ministry agreement. I think we don't need to write letters, but call me a supervisor”, she said.
Arberie Nagavci of the VV was of that opinion.
The two commissions we've been visiting need to quickly call the chairmanship to find solutions. The sooner the minister of education is called for diplomas and textbooks. I need to address the matter of licensed medical students”, she said.
Albulen Balaj-Halimaj from the Initiative said the decline of residents in the three municipalities shows Kosovo's failure to support what it called a session necessary.
The drastic root of the inhabitants shows our lack of care and lack of support. It is necessary to hold a session and come up with a resolution or recommendations”, she said.
Valentina Bulnjaku, said it is possible to call a session and call the ministers to discuss the issue.
Here is a call to a session, or call the ministers separately, and discuss sending these issues forward, not populism”, she said.
Kurteshi said that the case will be met with the Administration Commission and will decide on the next actions.
The Education Commission also discussed new textbooks and school reshuffles, which were agreed on by the Minister of Education for Reporting.
