Ministry of Agriculture, Pristina Community boost co-operation for farmers' support

Pristina, June 11th 2019, Deputy Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Mevludin Krasniqi has hosted a meeting of the Pristina Community Agriculture Director Shkumbin Gashi, with whom they have talked about developments in the agriculture sector, including support programmes for this year and agricultural insurance.

He has announced during this meeting the director in detail for the Agriculture and Rural Development Programme for 2019 and for support schemes through which the deputy minister stressed that they have expanded support for many agriculture sectors.

Deputy Prime Minister Krasniqi further said that in this year's programmes, farmers in the Pristina municipality will also find support, and in this case he has reconfirmed his readiness to deepen co-operation with this municipality, with the aim of further development of the agriculture sector in this region.

For his part, director Shkumbin Gashi announced the deputy minister for developments in the agriculture sector in this municipality, and in this case expressed his commitment to implementing development projects in the sector.
