In this case, Minister Zivic had the opportunity to meet with the farmers on this side, to whom he introduced the UKPHR's Agriculture and Raural Development Programme for this year and has informed them of the measures of these programmes, through which she stressed that she would provide support in a large number of agricultural activities. “We intend to encourage all farmers, as well as motivate them to apply with their projects on UKPHR support programmes so together we can contribute to building a favourable climate for development of the agriculture sector”, the minister said.

In this case, farmers had the opportunity to relate even the problems facing them in developing their agricultural activities.

Farmer Goran Miliq, who handles cattle and its farm, has 80 sheep leaders and also cultivates 70 raspberry bears, has said institutional support for agriculture development is necessary and stressed that he expects support from the MBPZHR for expanding corn fields.

Besides that, other farmers visited today during the day have expressed their interest in expanding their agricultural activities, but they stressed that they needed the support of the Ministry of Agriculture.

In contrast, there are over 800 families in the municipality of Shtrpce, who successfully cultivate raisins for years.
