For the Matura Test, students won't have a phone signal

This year, seniors on the state-run prom will have questions from only four subjects, Albanian languages, English, mathematics and an election subject that (those) machines have been able to choose.

Even this year the test will be in two days and will be divided into four regions. The maturats will undergo the first part of the senior exam from 12 June to 15 June in Albanian and English-language classes, while the second half of the exam will be held from 19 June to 22 June in mathematics and election classes.

The punishment measures are envisioned for seniors and test administrators if they fight by cheating, while the phone wavers will be placed in all test centres.

Matura State Commission Chairman Fehmi Hyssenaj declares that all preparations for holding this test have been made, while stressing that the public draw of lots for the order of the test in the region will take place on June 6th.

This time we've made changes, the main difference is that this time students will be subject to the test in four subjects, three that are legally binding, it's about Albanian, mathematics and English, and one will choose students themselves, they've only done it, out of 12 available subjects have chosen one that they wanted. While he has also worked hard with experts from a twin company who have worked with our experts on the subjects, and the test will be consistent with the needs and the curriculum. Most of the questions that will be on the prom test will be questions that have to do with the competence-based curriculum and all activities have been carried out. I believe this time, except for the management part, the prom test will be better quality even from the aspect of its” content, he said.

Hysenaj says the test will have 200 requests, while the conclusion threshold will be 40 per cent of the correct answers.

Matura State Commission Chairman Fehmi Hysenia says they expect real results and only those who deserve it will pass this exam.

We are to have equal management for all students, to have equal conditions, while the result depends on students, and I think that even last year, despite how much improvement has been smaller while achievement has been good. This time again, I think there's going to be a great achievement of students, and that I want to be as real as possible”, Hysena said.

The state senior test will be subject to over 28,000 students from all over Kosovo. /
