Austria to Have First Wife Chancellor

The president of the Constitutional Court in Austria, Brigitte Bierlein, will be Austria's next Chancellor until the upcoming elections. Australian President Alexander Van der Bellen, announced in Vienna that he would appoint him “after a few days”, to the post of Chancellor. The task as Constitutional Court president, Bierlein said it would hand over before the Chancellor is appointed.

Jurission is the first woman to become Chancellor

Jurist Bierlein, born in 1949 in Vienna, has been elected in 2003 to vice president and in February 2018 the first president of the Constitutional Court in Austria. The 69-year-old has good contact with the conservatives of the ♫VP, but also with the right-wing population of FP unjustly.
