According to KMDLNj, Albanian citizen A. Or at 9: 15 a.m. today, he was found in serious health condition by roommates who had returned from walking and who had not been taken for a walk.
The medical personnel of Dubrava's prison have made efforts to offer first aid, but because of deteriorating health conditions, it has been urgently sent to the Peja Regional Hospital, where death has been recorded”, the KMDLNJ response reported.
KMDLNj is deeply concerned with the death of persons deprived of freedom during the suffering of sentence and requires urgent intervention of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Justice in order to ensure a quality and effective protection of the health and life of persons deprived of freedom.
“KMDLNj has been reported for therapy used by the late A.A. and may also be responsible for his death, so it requires prison justice to reinforce controls in order to eliminate prohibited items. The late A.A. has died 12 days after the punishment began and, according to the KMDLNJ, there has been no history of a serious disease that has caused rapid death”, it is said in response.
KMDLNj wants to be professionally reinforced also materially to avoid these cases in the future.
