Wessel in particular has informed Jencan of the initiative about the establishment of Tribunal for condemning the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. While asking the UN to consider the 2014 petition with over 115 thousand signatures, which require justice for women raped during the Kosovo war.
Here's the full announcement:
I had the pleasure of having a special meeting with UN Deputy Secretary General Miroslav Yence, who covers European, Central Asia and America issues. I thanked her for the work done by the United Nations Organization and its specialised agencies in Kosovo and showed her that our goal is to become full - fledged members in the near future.
We believe that through dialogue we will reach a peace agreement that will ensure mutual recognition with the neighbouring state and pave the way for UN membership.
At the same time, I informed him of my initiative under the confrontation with the past and the punishment of genocide and war crimes committed by Serbia.
In this case, I requested his help for the UN to consider the 2014 petition containing over 115 thousand signatures, through which justice is required for women violated during the Kosovo war. I also pointed out that it is unfair not to include sexual violence during the Kosovo war, in annual UN reports, because without truth and without justice, there can hardly be peace and reconciliation./ P ERISCOPI/
