Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken to parliament for yesterday's EC report on the opening of negotiations.
He has accused the opposition outside parliament, that with the reactions recently made, he is showing that he has no will to help the country's EU integration path.
“Raport gives clear indicators regarding the opposition that is not in parliament and what opposition should do today rather than do what it is doing. We remain determined to stimulate a process of dialogue with the opposition, but we have no readiness to negotiate the constitution as the fundamental law that imposes upon us all to respect, in the function of elections belonging to the sovereign people, and do not belong to parties.
We are willing to dialogue with the extraparliamentary opposition, but we will never negotiate the legitimacy and obligation for the continuation of this parliament, an obligation stemming from a clear mandate under which it is impossible for us to say sorry to those who have chosen us if those who did not elected will have a priority of”- Rama said. /tch/
