A month's detention for Hashimi, Kadri Rexhepi

Kosovo police have arrested the two suspects last night for the “file suspect”, Hashimi beat and Kadri Rexhepi.

The Constitutional Court in Pristina, the General Department, the Division of Criminal Affairs, has ruled in connection with the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure against the R.H.H. and K.R for criminal acts of fraud by Article 335 paragraph 5 concerning paragraph 1 and Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.

The court has made a decision and indictees R.H. and K.R has assigned the detention measure in length of 1 (a) month for each separately.

The court has found that the criteria of Article 187 paragraphs 1.1 and paragraph 1.2, points 1.2.1.2.2 and1.2.2.3 of KPRC have been fulfilled, because there is danger of their escape, and there are also circumstances that defendants can influence witnesses. The court has estimated that considering their personal characteristics and previous behavior, there is the danger that the same can perform similar or similar criminal acts.

Against that ruling, the parties have a right to complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals.
