The United States of America is again the first to begin to react in defence of Kosovo to condemn Serbian crimes 20 years after the war.
Following Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli's letter to all friendly states, asking them to issue resolutions condemning Serbian crimes in Kosovo, the US Congress has already reacted first.
This Tuesday (morrow), the US Congress will hold a hearing concerning the 20th anniversary of the end of the war where they will testify to Serbian crimes in Kosovo: Ilir Bytyqi, Atifete Jahjaga and Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman.
US ambassadors to Kosovo and Serbia have also reacted after the letter issued by Chief Parliamentary Veselini. Until the American ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Costett, days ago, was seen alongside Veselin in Mea Gjakova on the 20th anniversary of the massacre the Serbs committed, where he sought punishment of criminals, and American Ambassador to Serbia days ago said no one could deny the crimes Serbia committed in Kosovo during the war.
The initiative of Chief Parliamentary Kadri Wessel to send a letter of arguments to Serbian crimes has come to the 20th anniversary of Kosovo's liberation, and following continued efforts by Serbian heads of state to deny Serbia's massacres and crimes during the war in Kosovo.
Kosovo Chief Parliamentary Letter aims to institutionalise the memory and truth of the crimes Serbia has committed in Kosovo through resolutions, parliaments of Kosovo's friendly countries.
