Kosovo will not hold back from Serbia's efforts to rewrite the history of war and the massacres it has committed in Kosovo”.
“With the case of the 20th anniversary of the Kosovo War and given the tendency of the government of Serbia to deny the crimes committed, I have prepared a letter to the parliaments of friendly countries to ask them to draft resolutions that formally recognise the Serbian state's role as the cause of crimes against humanity”.
“Such a resolution would commemorate painful events for our people, honour the numerous civilian victims, and otherwise condemn any attempts to deny or change that dark and painful part of contemporary European history”.
Such reminder resolutions, not only awareness society that inhumane crimes like those of Kosovo's war are no longer repeated, but also contribute to interethnic reconciliation, which is impossible if the truth is not stated”, wrote Wessel on Facebook.
