Top Channel, referring to a source present at that meeting, reports that “in the meeting that has lasted about 100 minutes is taught that only a short time has been devoted to the political situation in our country”.
The top American official has been detained long in the importance it has for Albania's future, the opening of negotiations with the European Union, as well as the strategic role Albania plays in NATO.
Part of the Rama-Palmer conversation has also been dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Although the topic of political currentity in Albania has not received the main part of attention, it is taught that the US official has expressed interest in the performance of electoral reform, while repeating the message given earlier by Washington and Brussels, that there is no reason to question the legitimacy of the Parliament and the government.
Otherwise, tomorrow the senior US official will meet with DP Chairman Lulzim Basha, LSI chairman Monica Mayor and President Ilir Meta.
