Before the start of this marathon, it was held a minimarathon for children who ran about two miles.
This is the 19th consecutive marathon organised by the Kosovo Athletics Federation together with the Pristina municipality.
The path of Marathon will be the following: The start is done by the national theatre, Mother Teresa Street, the main lights, the Fushe Kosovo route, from Fushe Kosovo, towards Obilik, then the contestants take to Mitrovica's magistrate's Street, Pristina continues to the circle and still turn into a goal in front of the National Theatre.
We remember that in this marathon as many other times the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, accompanied by his wife.
Apart from the prime minister, this marathon has been honoured by many KSF members, as well as Kosovo Olympic Committee President Besim Hasani.
