That has denied Ahmeti for Online Economy. He said the opposition is trying to forge -- even according to him -- the municipality he is leading towards realising 100 promises given by President Ahmeti himself.
I had suggested that I come more often to the municipality that sometimes sometimes a month comes to the assembly meeting and they're trying to fake things, all of those with me know that I'm in the municipality every day because I don't have a job, so this year it's a bigger dynamic job, we're going right to make 100 promises, just those three months of the 120 projects I have, over 60 percent of them are in the process of procurement, this year I'm expecting an added commitment, and every one of them's opposition parties in the office, and I've been telling Ahmeta.
Another criticism that has been made to the municipality of Pristina by the opposition itself is the growth of administration, or the growth of directors. These opposition concerns, Ahmeti calls the statements pointless, as according to him, the work is not measured by the number of directors.
“The Vetevendosje Movement, it was with me in the government and how it wasn't the directors who were in the coalition, and now when they're not looking too much, if the Democratic League has told us, to look at their municipalities, to see 10 times smaller than Pristina which has 13 directors, it's in vain because it's not measured by the number of directors, because in the end we're talking about 600 administrative workers and 4,000 workers in health and education, so this is the number of workers, and we don't have the number of workers, but for the good organisation of jobs we've set up the directors as well as I think they have, in the culture and the director, because there's nothing in common. We have this number of directors and we haven't increased the number of workers even though we need them, but we've already made a better organisation of the directors”, Ahmeti told Online Economy.
Pristina's leader announced that the Social Democrat Party will soon begin gatherings with citizens of neighbourhoods in the capital.
