And in the war in Syria, there were warriors who have gone from Kosovo.

According to the data, about 200 Albanians from Kosovo are in Syria, of them 95 women and 40 children, while around 80 is the number of Kosovars who have given their lives fighting for the ISIS, writes news.net.

And after ISIS's defeat, it is expected that Kosovars who had gone to fight in Syria will return to Kosovo, but what challenge will this be for Kosovo?

News. We have contacted Mentor Vrajol, executive director at the Kosovo Centre for Security Studies.

The news van.net has indicated that the number of people who can be dangerous is about 30 while the rest are prisoners.

The number of people who can be dangerous is between 20 and 30, and much of them are unknown where they are, a part suspected of being imprisoned but unknown who or what. So it is not a big risk to return them”, Vrajolli has indicated.

Vrajolli has also indicated that the problem lies with women and children who must be repatriated.

“Puna is to women and children who need to be repatriated, I don't believe they pose danger or threat”, Vrajolli said.

Also, Vrajolli has stressed the fact that it is a problem how much people inside Kosovo can radicalise.

The work of those outside is not much of a problem, the problem is the work of those inside and how radicalized and whether institutions have the capacity to deal with them”, Vrajolli said in the end.

On the other hand, religion sociologist Halim Emerlah of news.net has explained why Kosovars have gone to war in Syria.

According to him, religious clergy with different orientations come from different parts of the world.

In transition countries like us as societies and in the process of social consolidation, there are different social movements, social groups, individuals and different elites that affect society and individual individuals. Part of this ideology are religious clergy with different orientations and school philosophies from many different parts of the world. Part of this social phenomenon were groups that have been motivated by these religious clergy elites and schools with religious underlying ideology that have influenced the individual designated in Kosovo. And this Albanian social orient movement is in view of fundamental religious language and they take the path where religious language is used and people can be influenced individually about this ideology, such as the case of Syria”, Emerlah explained the news.net.

Asked about the challenge of resocialisation and repatriating Kosovars involved in the wars in Syria, Emerlah has indicated that an institutional and social intervention for integration and their socialism is needed.

Every society, individual involved in conflict, war, is in the absence of socialism and you need a resocialization in the sense of social rehabilitation, a psycho-social calm. And here we need an institutional, state and social intervention for integration and also for their socialism with separate policies designed by the state. The state has to account for these individual groups as an integral part of Kosovo society, which comes only with good conditions and good social environment. Given the possibility of schooling, employment and social communication, these are the factors of integration and repatriation”, Emerlah has been expressed for news.net.

As for the possibility of radicalism and radicalisation within Kosovo, Emerlah has indicated that the fundamental language is present in Kosovo society.

“in Kosovo society is present in the fundamental language of extremism as a social and religious community. Such language, used by certain religious clergy, social networks, and various religious objects, such as glass and Orthodox churches, Protestant and other, comes from religious clergy who are educated in different schools with these languages. We are societies in a secular sense, a liberal society, with tolerance and religious pluralism. We are societies where we have unified nation and people with religious tolerance internationally, an example of many societies that are in religious conflicts”, Emerlah said in the end.

Otherwise, Kosovo is ranked in states with the largest number of citizens joining it. I SIS compared with the total number of residents.
