According to these reports, Kosovo Police have been recommended to increase security in countries where minority residences are more concentrated and in religious sites.

Periscope has received an official response from the police, who say these measures are made depending on the need and the assessment of security in the country.

Kosovo Police consistently evaluate the country's security situation, and depending on the need to take additional measures, with the aim of maintaining order and public calm in the country, the Police's response to Periscope says.

49 people were left dead following attacks on mosques in the town of Christchurch in New Zealand after an armed man opened fire on Muslims during Friday's prayers.

The BBC reports that this is the worst attack on New Zealand's history, with the country's prime minister, Yacinda Ardern, describing the case as a terrorist attack.

Authorities there took security measures immediately after the attacks, with police patrolling mosques in Britain, Sydney and other major European cities./ P ERISCOPI/
