Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veselini, accompanied by Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu and by Kosovo Deputy Ilmi Recica have visited primary school “Jeronim De Rada” on the first day of the second half-year.
The head of the Assembly was welcomed by the principal of the school, Servete Hajrullahu, teachers, and students, who congratulated them on returning to the learning process.
From the “School, Jeronim de Rada” in Ferizaj, Chief Parliamentary Veselini congratulated all Kosovo students and teachers on the launch of the second half-year, while calling for more work in increasing quality.
“With the new wage law, all public sector workers in Kosovo, starting with teachers, health personnel, soldiers, police and all other categories, have the highest salaries not only in the region but also outnumber some European Union countries. Now we ask for more commitment at work, so that we can increase the quality in education and our students get the knowledge needed to prepare for the global competition that awaits us at the market, Veselin said.
