According to the Kosovo Constitution, the legal deadline for decreeing a law on the part of Kosovo's president is 8 days, which expires today. This law after voting in the Kosovo Assembly has been sent to President Thaci for the decision.
President Thaci's adviser, Adil Behramaj, for Radio Kosovo has responded briefly that the decree on decree has not yet been made. The union leaders have warned that they are expected to radicalise if their demands are not met. The law on wages has passed in the Assembly on 2 February, with 63 votes for and 1 abstention. If President Thaci does not decree it, then the law is returned to the Assembly for reconsideration. The right to return a law, the president can only use it once.
