Kosovo Parliament MP from the Social Democrat Initiative ranks Haxhi Shala has declared that the 100 per cent tax on Serbia's products should not be lifted until the effects are achieved for what has been imposed.
He said about “The new era” that the party led by Fatmir Limaj supports Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to the end over the issue.
Shala does not believe the tax could lead the country to early elections.
Even, according to him, it would be a mistake if the country went to new elections because of the tax on Serbian goods.
The country's prime minister, Haradinaj, insists the tax will remain in force until Serbia recognises Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.
The United States of America is making him pressure to suspend the tax, to pave the way for the resumption of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
