I got my son off the bus. He called me on the phone and he just said: “I don't know what happened, we had a” accident. I immediately left Gostivar in Karpalak and took my son off the bus”.
So relates the father of one of the injured boys in the tragedy that took place on the Skopje-Tetovo highway, where 14 people lost their lives and another 32 of them were injured.
In contrast, many citizens from Gostivar who came to the scene did not find their loved ones.
Due to the great tragedy that took place yesterday in the post-day hours on the Skopje-Tetovo road, the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, after the end of the extraordinary session has announced that February 14th and 15th will be a day of mourning.
