While adding that the property issue in the Asthir area should be resolved using a fair and equal standard for all citizens.
The LVV stressed that a rule of law is not built through arbitrary power with structural and direct violence towards citizens.
Albania's Vetevendosje branch response:
Systemic violence today took the form of direct violence at Astiri
Centre of Movement V IN Albania, it has followed with great concern all the events that have taken place today in the “Astirit” near the New “Unase in Tirana, where citizens have been protesting for months after the scandals of an infrastructure corrupt project with the company “D H Albanian”. As reported by the media, some 13 people, citizens, and members of the police have been injured during today's police action and are receiving service near the University of Trauma Hospital. At that, media have also reported that about 10 other protesters have been arrested, including Professor and activist Ervin Goci, and some have been mistreated during the arrest.
Centre of Movement V ENVENTION! Albania first calls for halting all actions on the part of state bodies that could strain the situation even further by causing injuries and injuries.
Corruption, scandals, irregularities and double standards have characterised the entire process of the New “Unassignment” project. A rule of law is not built through arbitrary power with structural and direct violence towards citizens. The property issue in the “Astir” area should be resolved using a fair and equal standard for all citizens.
We hope in the fastest recovery of all injured, protest citizens and members of the police, and we seek the release of protesters who are being held unjustly.
