The situation there is currently chaotic, because the Prizren municipality is not having capacity and funds for managing the situation.
The issue has been addressed at a media conference, as has Prizren's leader, Mytaher Haskuka.
He has sought assistance from the Kosovo government and specialised agencies.
Also, Haskuka has announced that a detailed recording of people coming to this camp is being made.
“Last night, Friday, we had a large number of citizens who came to the camp to seek refuge, but for security reasons we cannot exceed the number of attendees and capacity that the German camp” said Haskuka.
Haskuka has also indicated that in agreement with high school director “John Busuke” 120 people will be placed in the sports room of this school.
Haskuka announced that, in co-operation with Gnjimanzi Director “John Buzuku “Jeronium Susur, 120 people have agreed and settled in the sports room of this school, for which he has requested food aid.
He said food has so far been provided thanks to donations of businesses from the city of Prizren and civil society.
“In co-operation with NGOs we're going to run a mobile kitchen because it's very problematic to take food from abroad and service persons sheltered for health causes”, he said.
According to Haskuca, those sheltered in this sports room should provide another place to live because of inadequate conditions.
