Although the election result has not yet been certified, the AKR, which was in coalition with the Social Democrat Initiative and the DP, and which, with the exception of votes coming from Serbia, has not ruled out the possibility of a coalition with the Vetevendosje Movement, which emerged victorious from the 6 October elections.
AKR Secretary General Vesel Makolli, in a response to Koha.net, has said that regarding the coalition, they will decide, initially counting on the state's interest.
He says the actions, which will be taken after the certificate of election results, will be in harmony with the two coalition partners with whom they have competed in the 6 October elections, the Initiative and the DP.
“This recounting process has been halted, as it seems, as well as talks on government formation and the two winning parties -- the VV and the LDK -- so we have not yet thought about our involvement or involvement in the ruling coalition. You know we've competed in this election in the coalition and with two other parties, so future actions will be thought, planned and synchronized together”, he said.
The language that reigns among political subjects, Makolli has called it harmful. He has called for parties to respect the rules of democracy and the sovereign verdict.
“We are liberal democratic parties and we respect each member's opinions and suggestions, but decisions are made in the party's consciences, respecting democratic rules and taking state interests first. The call that is ruling among political subjects is very harmful, so as never before, our political subjects must respect the rules of democracy and the sovereign verdict, making decisions that would have been exclusively in the interest of the state and the people”, he said.
Time.net has tried to contact even Social Democrat Initiative officials, but that the same have said they have no official position on the issue yet.
Meanwhile, sources within Vetevendosje have told Koha.net that so far they have been focused on talks with the LDK and that a coalition with the AKR has not yet been discussed.
Although it has been more than a month since holding elections, the voting recount process is still under way.
With first vote count by CEC, Initiative coalition - AKR-PD remained under the threshold. Following the Initiative's complaint to the Supreme Court for annulment of votes coming from Serbia, which was approved, this coalition passed the threshold, but due to the recount, this result is still not official.
And over the threshold of this coalition, seats in the Vetevendosje and LDK framework, which are in talks on creating the government, have been reduced.
Out of 32 deputies as long as the VV had, after the first results, with the new decision there will be 29. The LDK will suffer with the removal of an MP, remaining in 28 deputies.
